My Story

I was born and raised right here in Pittsburgh and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, but I sure do love to travel! My husband of over 30 years and I, have one son, who is our pride and joy! He lives in the DC area with his wonderful girlfriend and our grand puppy, Duke! Our family knows that life is full of unexpected surprises and adventures, and it is important to welcome them all!

Oh, to the mountains I must go!
I love to capture life through photography!
I am hiking, biking or and kayaking but my all-time favorite activity is listening to live music, dancing right up front!

My Career Story

Upon high school graduation, I took a summer job at the Boys and Girls Club and have been working with children and families ever since. As a non-traditional working student, I went on to earn my degrees from California University and the University of Pittsburgh. Much of my career was with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit in a variety of roles including special education teacher and administrator, and I was also adjunct faculty at both Pitt and Carlow University. System 1-2-3 is the perfect next step for me, utilizing my education and experience to facilitate growth and learning not only in others but in myself as well. We always end up where we are meant to be…
