Meerkat Village

Meerkat Village is a new virtual space that connects the adults that surround a child. The platform allows team members (villagers) to communicate and create collaborative action plans. System 1-2-3 facilitators are specially trained to support village creation and on-going teaming within them.

What it looks like

1.
System 1-2-3 facilitator communicates directly with referred family to create a village
2.
Parent/Guardian invites and authorizes other to join the village
3.
System 1-2-3 facilitator supports teaming and action planning in the village for 90 days

Routine Building

This service involves a System 1-2-3 facilitator working remotely with a parent or other home-based partner with the purpose of collaborating toward more effective at-home routines or understanding and improving child behavior.

Resource creating or researching for the family

Professional Development on Zoom

System 1-2-3 has developed a series of professional development activities designed to engage participants in active reflection and application of home-school partnership tools. The topics and tools focus on strength-focused engagement and relationships.

Handouts and tools are provided to participants in advance
3.

System 1-2-3 facilitates initial application and encourages participants to utilize audio inputs and chat box to share ideas and questions

Pyramid Building on Microsoft One Drive

System 1-2-3 Pyramid Building tools are available on-line through One Drive. Tools are organized by tier and topic. The system allows users to share and collaborate on tools from the “tool shed.” As part of this service, System 1-2-3 can set up your classrooms with dedicated folders in which to build their pyramids.
