Our multi-tiered system of support which focus on adult practices which support social and emotional development and behavior change of children. We are currently providing Pyramid Building in multiple counties through our partnership with ELRC 4.
We originally developed this innovative approach to working with children and families in conjunction with Meerkat Village. The approach expands the focus of support from children or families and classrooms to the entire village that surrounds a child.
We are currently piloting VDC with our partner, Westmoreland Community Action.
Our consultation team is led by Jennifer Austad, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is endorsed by The Pennsylvania Association for Infant Mental Health (PA-AIMH) as an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist (ECMHS) and is a registered provider for Reflective Supervision/Consultation and Janet Gmiter, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s degree in Special Education and has PA Autism Trainer Certification.
Our partners, Seton Hill Child Services and the Council of American Indian Center utilize our integrated consultations and facilitation model.
A five-part workshop series designed to deep dive into how we work together. The facilitator will take participants through a series of activities that encourage reflection on how we share, how we listen, how we collaborate and how we approach conflicts.
