My Story

I was raised in Greensburg alongside my younger brother Bryan. My mom was a homemaker and my dad’s career took him all over the world. From a very early age I had a sense of adventure and wanted to discover as much as I could. I have always enjoyed traveling, meeting new people and reading. I spent many days as a child with my grandmother who encouraged my wanderlust for the world. She too was a reader, traveler and foodie.

I spent most of my 20’s and early 30’s teaching and traveling. I met and married my husband in under a year at age 35. We are enjoying a really great adventure together.

We have two interesting and kind kids Henry and Hadley. We have also added a Whoodle named Daisy. We love traveling together, seeing live music, chasing rockets, being beach bums and fishing anywhere.

My Career Story

I graduated from Hempfield Area and went to University of Pittsburgh to study Political Science and Communications. I stayed an extra semester to get my teaching certificate at my parents request. I was offered a full time teaching position upon my college graduation at Richland School district in Johnstown—so I declined law school and began a career that I have loved.

I taught high school English and Social Studies for over 20 years finishing my public school career at Hempfield Area. During my tenure I was able to receive my MA in Adult Education / Training- Development and also my Early Childhood certification at Carlow University.

After staying home with my kids for several years I returned to the classroom as a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Specialist with St. Vincent College. As a specialist I was able to visit many local districts and learn so much about each community’s culture and challenges.

I was excited to join System 1-2-3 to be able to merge all of my experiences as an educator and parent. I am excited to partner with our clients and make progress that suits their unique needs.
